DVD-Cover Printmaster is a product developed by Biu Software.This site is not directly affiliated with Biu Software.All trademarks, registered trademarks, product names and company names or logos mentioned herein are the property of their respective owners.

I would suggest you to Printmaster 16in compatibility mode and check if it helps. Please follow these steps:

Printmaster 18 Windows 10 Compatibility

a. Right click the installation file and then click properties.
b. Click compatibility tab.
c. Click to check 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' box and select Windows 8.
d. Click apply and ok.

Now, you may install the program.

After playing around with it I reinstalled MS .net framework 1.1 and this did it. Works fine now

I am having the same trouble installing PrintMaster 16. It worked fine on Windows 8.1. I have run the Windows 10 compatibility troubleshooter and still cannot install it. Any other suggestions? I hope I can continue to use PrintMaster 16. Thanks.

Thanks, Jack. What is Microsoft Net Framework 1.1? If I uninstall it, do I leave it uninstalled or do I re-install it, the try reinstalling Printmaster 16? I saw in your earlier post where you had done this but I didn't know what it was or what the Framework 1.1 does or controls so I was afraid to uninstall it.

Printmaster 16 worked okay on Windows 7 but will not install on Windows 10.

I had the same problem and had to download the 'Microsoft .NET Framework 4' manually to make it work.

LicUtil.exe Minimum System Requirements The following are the minimum system requirements needed to properly run PrintMaster® 10. If your system does not meet these requirements, you may not be able to run the program. Art and More Store CD Requested When attempting to purchase items from the Art and More Store, the program prompts you to insert the Art and More CD disc. The issue is due to having installed a previous version of PrintMaster® that contained an Art and More Store CD disc. PrintMaster® v 10 no longer contains an Art and More Store CD disc. CD-Read Issue After inserting the CD into the CD-ROM drive when prompted, the CD is not recognized. Any number of the following conditions may cause this issue: wrong CD is being used, CD needs cleaned, CD-ROM drive settings, inappropriate CD-ROM driver or outdated CD-ROM driver. Installation Shows Only a Gray Square After inserting the Install CD for PrintMaster® 10, instead of displaying installation instructions, the screen turns black and displays a gray square in the middle. Incorrect screen and color settings cause this issue. Changing these settings should help to resolve the issue. Design Art Collection CD Requested If a Design Art Collection image is available in the Art Gallery, then the Design Art Collection CD has been previously installed.The installation of the Design Art Collection can be confirmed by looking under the Art Collection drop down list in the Art Gallery. Design Art Collection will show in this list. Importing Photos and Art After selecting photographs and art from outside PrintMaster®, you wish to import them into the program to be used. Lengthy Spooling Time When Printing When a project is sent to the printer, spooling continues for a lengthy period of time. This issue is sometimes the result of an outdated printer driver. Updating the printer driver typically resolves the issue. In many instances, changing the settings related to printing can help to resolve the issue. Loss of Display on Changing Resolution Upon changing the resolution to 800 x 600 the display is lost. The probable cause for the issue is the monitor that you are utilizing does not support an 800 x 600 resolution. To resolve the issue, restart Windows® in Safe Mode, lower the Color setting to 16 Color, and lower the resolution to 640 x 480. Upgrading PrintMaster® Classic Plus After using the Classic Plus version of PrintMaster® 10, you want to upgrade to PrintMaster® 10 Silver. However, the upgrade number that is provided is incorrect. Double-sided Printing Using an HP® 970 The following procedure describes how to use the duplex printing capabilities of the Hewlett-Packard® 970 printer with PrintMaster® 10. Address Book Does Not Upgrade The installation of PrintMaster® 10 does not import your Address Book data. To resolve the issue, copy the data file from the previous Address Book and paste it into the Books folder of PrintMaster® 10. Does Not Contain a Valid Certificate While attempting to open a certificate project of PrintMaster® v 10 from Windows Explorer (or from an icon on the Desktop) an error message appears as, 'The selected file does not contain a valid certificate or the certificate is not a Root Authority.' (Certificate projects have the file extension as CER.) Exception C0000006h in module *.* While installing PrintMaster® 10 an error message stating'PMW caused an Exception C0000006h in module *.*'(*.* indicates a module name and varies). This issue indicates that the cd-rom drive is haveing troubles reading all the nessesary information off the cd. Invalid Page Fault in MFC42.DLL When starting PrintMaster® 10, the error message 'PMW caused an invalid page fault in module mfc42.dll' sometimes appears. This issue is usually due to an older or damaged video driver corrupting a file in the PrintMaster® USER folder. Deleting the USER.INI file may temporarily resolve the issue. Updating the video driver is also recommended to prevent a reoccurrence of this error. Invalid Page Fault in PMWTT.DLL When attempting to open a project or to select an image or graphic, the error 'PMW Caused an Invalid Page Fault in module PMWTT.DLL' is received. This message may be related to a font or video issue. Deleting zero kilobyte (0K) fonts, reducing the number of fonts, deleting corrupted fonts, or updating the video driver may resolve the issue. ISSET_SE Caused a General Protection Fault... During the installation of PrintMaster® v 10 the error message 'ISSET_SE caused a general protection fault in module [various]' may appear. The issue is often due to a conflict between the mouse driver and the actual mouse device being used. In addition, using Point32 or MSWheel mouse programs may cause the error. Installing the correct mouse driver or closing Point32 or MSWheel programs should resolve the issue. Creating and Manipulating Text Boxes PrintMaster® 10 features the ability to add and change text when creating and customizing projects. Adding and editing text for a project is easy using the instructions included in this tutorial. Cannot Determine Configuration While attempting to start PrintMaster® 10, the following message appears: 'Cannot Determine Configuration.' This issue is typically the result of a corrupt installation. Uninstalling and reinstalling PrintMaster® 10 will help identify the source of the issue. This technical note describes how to proceed.
