The contact phone number to check on your EOtech refund status is 1-888-368-4656, Option 3, then Option 1. This will connect you with the separate refund company located in Minnesota. Office hours are 8 am until 5 pm Monday through Friday, local time. Real L-3 from EOTech will have a rounded optical component there. If this component is missing, then you have bought a fake. Third, look at your sight’s bottom side. No counterfeit L-3s we have found so far have the logo of EOTech on the bottom, nor do they have a serial number. There are dealers who sell serial numbers online though.

I'm sure most of you have seen this by now on other forums, but I thought I'd post it here just in case. I submitted my request for refund yesterday and received my return authorization first thing this morning. EOTech seems to be on the ball when it comes to customer returns.

Seems the company knew its sights were not holding zero but didn't say anything until they got caught. Reports of up to 20 MOA movement in low and high temps! With optics now allowed on our AR rifles, this info needs to get out as much as possible.
I submitted a return request from the EOTech website (http://www.eotechinc.com/)
Click on the 'Service and Support' tab in the upper right
Then click on the 'Return Authorization Request Form' link
Fill out the form as required. You'll need your sight handy to get the Serial Number and production date from the sticker on the bottom of the sight.
In the 'comments' section I just stated that I wanted a refund and not a credit.

Just wanted to update for anyone just starting this thread. Emails are now being sent by EOTech that refunds will be processed shortly. For some
, this email is being received within a week of the sight being returned.

Finally received refund today. Took a little over 2 months to get the refund.
